Private Schools Not Offering Proper Health and Safety

Ofsted has started health and safety audits on private schools in recent months, warning that some private schools are not concerned with health and safety.  They are doing inspections of these schools without giving notice in order to find any issues that may be affecting the children going to these locations.  In September, the watchdog started focusing on individual children and their time at school.  They examine more than just health and safety.  They also look at teaching standards and the quality provided in the curriculum.

They will do more inspections.  They intend to focus on the pupils that are better set for British life.  One concern is indoctrination being an issue at certain private schools.  Other issues are whether competent teaching abilities are present.  An annual report was already released in November.  It was found that free paying schools offer roughly seven per cent of outstanding teaching.

With these concerns, there is a question raised as to whether children will have a better life than their parents will.  It can be a matter of safety and health because students that are not prepared could suffer from health issues later on.  They could also enter into unsafe situations that could have been avoided with better education.  Education is always an issue for examination no matter where one lives.  The watchdog is hoping that with these inspections of all areas of the schools, they will be able to prevent problems from arising in the future.
