Health & Safety in Educational Premises
At Winter & Company we believe that training should be an interactive, uninhibited experience, allowing free thought, discussion and learning. The practice is headed and managed by Mitchell Winter, TechIOSH. (Technician member of The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health).
Our success in training has come about by carefully listening to our clients, analysing their requirements and delivering effective and targeted training. Training should be an experience that promotes active learning.
As a Head Teacher, Bursar, Premises or Facilities Manager, you have a responsibility to manage your premises Health & Safety. In turn you have delegated many of these responsibilities to your Administration and Facilities Staff, but nonetheless you remain responsible in the event of a prosecution.
It is therefore of utmost importance and a legal requirement to provide adequate levels of Information, Instruction & Training to your appointed persons in order that they may carry out their delegated duties responsibly and safely.
In this respect we invite you and or your appointed persons to attend this very specific tailor made one-day training course, designed to bring you up to date with current Health & Safety management requirements and law in respect of your educational premises.
Please note that delegates will be provided with a free mentor for 3 months following this course, to provide ongoing support and answer any questions which may subsequently arise. Comprehensive course notes and guidance is also provided and all delegates will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.
This one-day course is designed for Head Teachers, Board Members, Trustees, Governors, Facilities Managers and those who hold responsibility for Managing the Health & Safety of educational premises.
